These advertisements always use the image of a perfect girl and in some way include sports to the ad such as soccer or football. We can easily tell who is the number #1 target for these ads are “men”, since most of the time and most men think about sex. Sex is the easiest way to grab their attention immediately. Modelos beer which means model is mainly target to Latino individuals because it is advertise in Mexican soccer games, as well in Television commercial in Spanish channels. In the ads and television commercials this beer plays off the double entry of modelos (models). In all the television commercial of this beer it is presented with beautiful modelos (models) magically appearing in all types of situation and offer men “ Sus Modelos, senores,” (“your models, gentlemen”). It is obvious that this product is being sold through SEX.

Not only is sex being used in these ads or TV commercials but also the need to dominate. By the men being powerful and the #1 target for this product. By the models walking to the men and handing them their modelo beer in the TV commercials it demonstrates dominance setting the men to being much more powerful and being satisfied in any kind of way and set as a king to being taken what is desired. As the ad says, “ Models y Futbol. Para que Mas!”, which means, “ Models and Soccer. Why More!”, it displays the target to men and also demonstrates that as long as you have your models and soccer you will be fine and do not need anything else. This ad also appeals with the need to achieve, because as long as you have your modelo beer and maybe the accompanied of a model “a Girl” and soccer you have achieved your goal and satisfaction of desired. As well as feeling like a king for satistifing the desired of sex (model), relaxed (beer) and stressed out (soccer).

Modelo beers are also appeal to the need of escape. Escape of the real world such as stress, desired and responsibilities of our daily life.
